Gen Finance is a personal-finance overview tool: you enter your own numbers, and it shows you where you stand. Plain terms, in plain language:

The service. Using the app requires a subscription — €4 a month or €40 a year, VAT included. Every subscription starts with a 14-day free trial: your card is saved at checkout and first charged when the trial ends; cancel before then and it is never charged. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; they issue the invoices and handle VAT.

Cancelling. Cancel any time from Settings → Manage subscription. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for. If something went wrong with a charge, email us within 14 days and we’ll sort out a refund.

Your data. Your numbers are yours. Export everything as one file, or delete your account and all of its data permanently — both live in Settings and work whether or not you subscribe.

What Gen is not. Gen does not connect to your bank, does not give financial advice, and its projections are arithmetic on the numbers you entered — not predictions. Decisions you make with them are your own.

Fair use. One account per person; don’t abuse, probe or resell the service. We can suspend accounts that do.
