Cookies

You may have noticed Gen Finance has no cookie banner. That is not an oversight — it is because we only set cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in, and EU law (the ePrivacy Directive, Art. 5(3)) does not require consent for those. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party trackers. There is nothing to consent to.

The cookies we set

Authentication (sb-…-auth-token) — set by our authentication provider, Supabase, when you sign in. It is your session: without it the app cannot know you are you. It refreshes while you use the app and is removed when you sign out. Depending on size it may be split across a couple of cookies with the same name and a numeric suffix.

That is the complete list. If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first, as the law requires.

Checkout

Payment happens on Lemon Squeezy’s own checkout pages, which operate under Lemon Squeezy’s cookie and privacy policies.
